Membership

Membership Information and Classifications

 

Evansville Country Club is a private, non-profit, member-owned club.  Membership is for candidates 21 years of age or older and requires the sponsorship of a voting, Full Resident member.  Our membership classifications  offer a variety of options to best suit the needs and interests of you and your family.  

 

Full Resident

      Members whose living quarters are located within Vanderburgh, Posey, Gibson, Warrick Counties, Indiana; Henderson County, Kentucky.  Full Resident members whose initiation is paid in full and are a member in good standing, have the right to vote or serve on the Board of Directors.

 

Full Resident Junior

      Members who are between the ages of 21 and 34 whose living quarters are within the resident area.  Junior members are entitled to all privileges and facilities of the Club and do not pay additional initiation upon reaching age 35.  A Full Resident Junior member does not have the right to vote or serve on the Board of Directors.

 

Swim-Tennis

     Members within the resident area entitled to all privileges and facilities of the Club except use of golf facilities.  A Swim-Tennis Member does not have the right to vote or serve on the Board of Directors.

 

Non-Resident

      Persons who do not maintain a personal residence within the Full Resident area.  A non-resident member shall have all the privileges of a Full Resident Member, but is not entitled to vote or serve on the Board of Directors.

 

Social

      Members who are entitled to all privileges and facilities of the Club except use of golf, swim and tennis facilities.  A social member does not have the right to vote or serve on the Board of Directors.

 

Heritage

      The designation shall be applicable to children, between the ages of 21 and 34, whose parents are members in good standing for the immediate past five years.  The Heritage Member receives a 15% reduction initiation fee.

 

Company

      Organizations conducting business within the Resident Area may purchase memberships in any category.  Each membership will be assigned to an individual who shall be subject to application fees and dues and approval by the Board of Directors.  The organization may later transfer the membership to other designates, but each designate shall be subject to Board approval.  Upon acceptance, the organization will pay a transfer fee equal to 20% of the initiation fee applicable to the classification.
