Our championship par 71 golf course features rolling terrain, beautiful Zoysia fairways, smooth fast bent grass greens, and a breathtaking view of the city from the first tee. Originally constructed by Bill Diddle in 1922, the master plan and remodels have been overseen by Mr. Diddle’s mentee Gary Kern and his son Ron Kern. With a course rating of 70.5 and slope of 136 at 6215 yards, the golf course at Evansville Country Club offers a challenge and enjoyment to all skill levels.
Jeff Sexton CGCS, our golf course superintendent and his staff keep the course beautifully maintained while all displaying a stunning array of flowers and plants throughout the property. In recent years, Jeff has also started a Bee program and a fresh garden for vegetables. The honey produced is used by the Chef as well as jarred for member use. The vegetable garden is handpicked by the Chef for use in the dining operation.
